Get Involved

There are several ways to get involved with OPEN. The first is to make sure you have joined by filling out the joining questionnaire, below. If you have any difficulties, email us. The contact details are on the ‘Contact’ tab, available from the home page.

Via the simple questionnaire while applying to join, you can tell us ways in which you would like to be involved. If those have changed, contact us by email. Examples of way you can help are:

Mentoring a student, graduate or prospective incorporated/chartered engineer or prospective chartered quantity surveyor or architect;
Requesting to be a mentee and receive mentorship and advice from an experienced professional;
You or your company sponsoring and event;
You could volunteer to deliver a Presentation / Speech / Lecture to OPEN’s members;
You could organise site visits for OPEN’s student and graduate members.

A great way to get involved is also to meet with us at the events we hold. By joining our mailing list, we will let you know what is going on in Oman and further afield that we think you might like to know about. These could be events that OPEN are going to be represented at, events held by OPEN themselves, or events held by our collaborating or supporting Professional Institutions. This is a fantastic way to expand your network and learn from others.
